Job Title: Tender Engineer II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tender Engineer II to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our Measurement Solutions business, you will be responsible for generating quotes for Flow Measurement Products. This role requires strong technical and commercial skills, with the ability to review customer specifications, issue RFQs, and prepare proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer RFQ specifications to understand technical requests and parameters.
  • Develop specifications for buyout items and obtain competitive quotes from third-party vendors.
  • Consolidate to cost-effective solutions and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Attend clarification meetings with clients and ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines.
  • Coordinate with salespersons and maintain regular communication to share updates.
  • Be familiar with risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures in place to mitigate the risks.
  • Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
  • Process and enter Purchase Orders into the approved system.
  • Maximize inter-business unit collaboration and lead effective overall coordination.
  • Follow and maintain a library of application-based templates for budgetary bids.
  • Organize the technical and commercial quote structure based on customer RFQ expectations.
  • Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
  • Work with product management to provide knowledge and input from your experience with customers on applications and field issues into new product development ideas.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in functions like applications, inside sales, engineering, and procurement/supply chain, ideally in the oil and gas industry.
  • Be familiar with general safety regulations and processes at work shops, supplier's yards, customer's works, etc.
  • Knowledge of PC, Windows Office Software. Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of cost estimation and accounting concepts.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a changing, fast-paced work environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Industry Standards such as API, ISO, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a multidisciplinary and global team.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in inside sales with knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Experience in working closely with technical staff.
