Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking an exceptional culinary leader to spearhead our kitchen.

Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team of chefs
  2. Develop innovative seasonal menus and specials that showcase creativity and flair
  3. Maintain consistency, presentation, and excellence across all dishes
  4. Effectively manage inventory, ordering, stock control, and cost management
  5. Ensure compliance with food safety and occupational health and safety standards

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a senior chef or head chef role
  • Deep understanding of flavors and the ability to create delicious and memorable dining experiences
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide team members
  • Creativity and confidence in menu development and implementation
  • Calm, professional, and effective communicator under pressure
  • Ability to optimize service flow and increase speed when demand rises
  • Clear communication and composure with front-of-house staff
  • Effective time management balancing preparation and service
  • Ability to coordinate dish timing for seamless service delivery
