Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Interior Design Coordinator to join our team at The Standard Hotel. This exciting role is responsible for maintaining the hotel's aesthetic and quality expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Management team to ensure all spaces meet specified standards and public areas are in show status at all times.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure consistent interior design standards are met.
  • Lead weekly property tours with department heads reporting on projects impacting guest experience.
  • Assist in clear and accurate reporting of projects amongst departments on an ongoing basis.
  • Execute all design-related projects specified by the SIM design team, including sourcing materials, vendors, and budget management.
  • Create instruction manuals for proper maintenance of spaces when needed.
  • Schedule, follow up, and oversee outside vendor projects in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Process and track Purchase Orders and check requests.
  • Coordinate furniture placement, landscaping maintenance, tools, and materials needed for the entire property.
  • Work closely with the marketing team throughout development and execution of physical and creative setups of activations and events.
  • Maintain, organize, and inventory all fixtures, furniture, and equipment assets on and off property.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of previous interior design experience.
  • Degree in a design or art field required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Sketchup (and/or comparable programs).
  • Ability to effectively communicate creative concepts, ideas with staff and management.
  • Highly organized, extreme attention to detail while multi-tasking.
  • Ability to work alone or with a team while having a positive attitude.
  • Full understanding of Architecture and Interiors, with a keen eye for Design.
About Us

The Standard Hotel is committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. We value individuality, teamwork, creativity, and pragmatism in all aspects of our business.

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
