About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Fashion Design Coordinator to join our team in VIC. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of Trenery Menswear range concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Menswear team to create innovative range concepts that align with our brand's values and aesthetic.
  • Attend fittings to ensure continuity of style development process and provide feedback to designers.
  • Participate in fit meetings and other related discussions that impact range development.
  • Select trims for the range, ensuring they meet our quality standards and reflect our brand's identity.
  • Conceptualize monthly storyboards in the form of mood and color boards to enhance visual appeal.
  • SOURCE AND DEVELOP FABRICS THAT ALIGN WITH OUR BRAND'S ESTHETIC.
  • Liaise with suppliers to monitor product development, availability, lead time, and costs.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Fashion or Textiles is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with illustration software packages, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Previous experience in a design-led role within a fashion business would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Detailed-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
