Job Description

The Global Trade Services Regional Coordinator Asia-Pacific is responsible for managing local-specific trade compliance aspects in the assigned region. This includes implementing and supporting global trade compliance guidelines, managing country-specific imports and exports, and ensuring supply chain security.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement and support global trade compliance processes and procedures
  • Manage country-specific imports, exports, compliance audits, and supply chain security
  • Support the implementation of Global Trade Services (GTS) processes in the region
  • Work with the GTS Compliance and Strategy team to define and modify region-specific processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in region-specific trade compliance management functions
  • Accredited Trade Compliance certification is an asset
  • Licensed customs broker certification is an asset
  • In-depth regulatory knowledge related to the region, including compliance, valuation, Free Trade Agreements (FTA), classification, taxation on import, export, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent formation and experience
  • Very good understanding of trade compliance terminology
  • Experience in project management and change management is an asset
  • Fluent in English and the main region languages
  • Open to travel in the designated region and to other international locations when needed
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
