Inventory Management Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team for a 3-month contract. This role focuses on efficiently managing stock allocation, ensuring seamless processing, organization, and availability of inventory.
Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for inventory management. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and allocating stock for inbound containers to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Working closely with the buying team and warehouse team to facilitate the smooth intake and organization of products.
- Overseeing the accurate distribution of goods into the inventory system.
- Liaising with internal teams to address any stock discrepancies or urgent allocation requirements.
- Monitoring stock levels and managing reallocation as needed to ensure high-demand products are readily available.
- Assisting with reporting on inventory movements, stock forecasts, and any challenges related to stock allocation.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience in inventory management, stock control, or logistics, preferably in retail or a similar industry.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of stock and data.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Essential experience with Netsuite.
- Strong MS Excel skills and Power BI.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000-$80,000 AUD, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities and a dynamic work environment.
