About the Role:

A highly skilled Restaurant Duty Manager is required to lead and direct all facets of daily operations at Wahlburgers. This role involves:

  • Assisting in the management of inventory, including food, beverage, and merchandise;
  • Ensuring financial and operational efficiency of the location while maintaining a guest-first mentality;
  • Overseeing the hiring, training, and development of new staff members;
  • Coaching and counseling existing staff and managers to achieve whole-team success;
  • Maintaining professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards;
  • Upholding restaurant safety, sanitation, and security standards at all times;
  • Ensuring building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are in good repair, clean, and maintained on a regular basis;
  • Providing exceptional engagement and commitment to locals and communities where we serve;
  • Ensuring a safe and harassment-free environment for all Team Members and Managers;
  • Understanding, complying with, and ensuring team members are accountable for all company policies, procedures, and operating standards, as well as all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Critical Skills & Certifications:

  • At least 2 years' management experience in a high-volume atmosphere, preferably in fast-casual dining;
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills;
  • Excellent problem resolution and guest communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills;
  • Ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, positive attitude, and enthusiasm;
  • Experienced and proficient in the use of basic computer technology, including POS systems, rostering systems, and Microsoft Office programs;
  • Strong commitment to serving others in the community;
  • Acts with integrity and treats others with respect;
  • Familiar with local liquor licensing laws;
  • Hold a valid RSA;
  • Australian resident or current work visa holder.
