Senior Human Resources Business Partner

The role of a Senior Human Resources Business Partner is crucial in supporting leaders and staff across the Northern Sydney Local Health District.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with managers to develop workforce capability aligned with business objectives.
  • Guide leaders through performance, talent, and change management processes.
  • Provide expertise on complex workforce matters including grievances, disputes, and industrial issues.
  • E nsure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
  • Promote our core values – Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment.
  • Coach leaders to proactively manage people challenges and foster a strong team culture.
Key Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Workforce/Human Resources management.
  • Previous experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance, and disciplinary management, job evaluation, recruitment, and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the public sector, employment, Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation, and State Awards.
