Key Role in Workforce Strategy

This position plays a crucial part in supporting leaders and staff across the Northern Sydney Local Health District. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on workforce strategy, industrial relations, performance management, and organisational change.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on workforce strategy and industrial relations
  • Collaborate with managers to develop workforce capability aligned with business objectives
  • Guide leaders through performance, talent, and change management processes
  • Advise on complex workforce matters including grievances, disputes, and industrial issues
  • Promote our CORE values – Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards such and/or experience in workforce/human resources management
  • Previous experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance, disciplinary management, job evaluation, recruitment, and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of public sector employment law, Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation, and relevant State Awards
