About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Analyst to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a Category Analyst, you will play a critical role in the success of our retail channel management, working closely with our Category Management team to develop and implement strategies that drive sales and profit growth in our Optical retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of category plans through quality reporting and data analytics.
  • Assist in the development of category analysis and actionable insights that support key category decisions.
  • Support the delivery of effective communication to the global and retail network.
  • Monitor and analyze sales campaign/promotions through post-mortem reporting.
  • Partner and align with cross-functional and external teams to optimize execution through our Omnichannel.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative and operational functions for the wider team.
Requirements for Success
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in Category Analyst role, or a similar role.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience in SAP or Power BI would be highly desirable.
  • Strong influencing ability and effective stakeholder management.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.
  • Project management & organizational skills.
  • Optical experience is advantageous, we can teach you all things optics.
