Category Development Specialist

As a Category Development Associate at Woolworths Group, you will play a key role in delivering a relevant offer for our customers by leveraging our data and creating insights to inform and influence category strategy and ranging decisions.
Your responsibilities will include identifying strategic category opportunities through curation and analysis of large data sets, supporting the end-to-end delivery of customer-focused range reviews across a broad number of categories, and consulting and collaborating confidently with stakeholders across the business to achieve desired outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have 1-2 years of Retail / Category analyst experience, or professional services (consulting, Big 4), and be able to synthesise data into structured recommendations and charts. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, paired with a passion for solving problems in creative, innovative and structured ways.
