About the Role

PACCAR is a global leader in commercial vehicles, specializing in design, manufacture and distribution of premium heavy trucks; Kenworth and DAF, related parts, leasing and financial services.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile payments from daily bank statements for optimal cash flow management.
  • Administer credit policies to minimize late payments and improve customer relationships.
  • Follow up with customers in arrears via telephone calls.
  • Process new credit applications and pass them to the manager for approval.
  • Regularly reconcile customer and deposit accounts as required.
  • Maintain payment arrears records to ensure timely collection activities.
  • Determine and recommend improved policies and work instructions to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure current procedures accurately reflect work instructions to avoid errors.
Requirements:
  • Excellent credit and collections skills.
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes.
  • Able to create policy, procedure, and work instruction manuals.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships.
  • Organizational and coordination skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Able to thrive in a team environment and contribute to its success.
  • Proficient in computer software, including MS Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (advantageous).
