Automotive Warranty Claims Specialist

Our organisation is seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Warranty Claims Specialist.
This position is ideal for those looking to advance their career within the Automotive industry, and may also appeal to technicians who wish to transition into an administration role.
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring that warranty claims are processed efficiently and accurately, while being part of an organisation that values commitment and supports growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track warranty payments and reconcile receivables with payments through accounting schedules
- Process and submit warranty claims in a timely manner, adhering to warranty policy and procedures
- Compile claim documentation according to manufacturer guidelines
- Verify submission criteria required by factory or distributor
- Post credits into dealer management systems
- Follow up on payment of outstanding claims
- Maintain warranty parts inventory, tagging and storing them systematically
About You:
- Previous experience in Warranty Administration, Technician, Parts or Service Advisor roles within a dealership environment is preferred
- Understanding of warranty policies and procedures
- Ability to interpret technical information relating to automotive products
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
- Strong organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
