We are seeking an experienced National Warranty Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role:The National Warranty Coordinator will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for managing the warranty claim process from start to finish. This involves working closely with manufacturer key contacts, identifying open service jobs that can be claimed as warranty, and monitoring standard times on service jobs to ensure timeframes are adhered to.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position and industry, as well as knowledge of the start-to-finish warranty claims process. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to communicate effectively with technical staff, international and local key contacts.
Responsibilities:- Work closely with manufacturer key contacts to manage warranty claims
- Identify open service jobs that can be claimed as warranty
- Monitor standard times on service jobs to ensure timeframes are adhered to
- Lodge warranty claim documentation into OEM systems
- Provide technical documentation to technician teams
- Arrange invoices and associated credit notes and approvals
- Identify common warranty claims and recommend corrective actions
- Distribute new information relating to warranties to branch staff
- Regularly review and identify improvements to warranty process and policies
- Experience in a similar position and industry
- Knowledge of start-to-finish warranty claims process
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, international and local key contacts
- Familiarisation of technical/mechanical terminology
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Car Licence
- Trade experience or qualification (preferred)
