**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a proactive Credit Officer on full-time basis based initially based at our Laverton office in Victoria, with a planned relocation to our brand-new offices in Truganina in July this year. You will be able to effectively and efficiently administer credit department related activity to ensure cash flow is maximized; credit risk is minimized, and customer service is enhanced.

**In this Role**
- Oversee high-volume collection efforts for the Food Pillar Customer Base, ensuring efficient risk management and negotiating payment terms to align with both business and customer expectations.
- Maintain credit limits and trading terms while managing weekly reporting and payment allocations.
- Coordinate order pool management, ensuring timely release of orders to meet logístical deadlines.
- Resolve disputes effectively and cultivate strong customer relations through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders within a large, national team to achieve collective objectives.
- Other adhoc duties as directed by your team leader.

**You're Likely a Match If** you have**
- Proven track record in a high-volume Credit Collections environment.
- Proficient in administrative tasks and customer service, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction.
- Strong time management abilities, adept at prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated, confident, and proactive, fostering a positive work environment.
- Adept at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and negotiating favorable business outcomes within a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
- Intermediate experienced in MS Office Suite. Experience in MS Dynamics (D365) is desirable but not essential.
