Job Title: Executive Director, Default Market Offer and Consumers

About the Role

This executive leadership position oversees the Default Market Offer (DMO) and leads teams to deliver policy and regulatory initiatives for energy consumers.

Responsibilities
  • Strategically oversee team integration and delivery of DMO each year.
  • Provide expert advice to the Board and Senior Executive Team on retail pricing, policy, and regulation.
  • Represent the AER and influence stakeholders on objectives.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and effective communication with senior leaders on projects and organisational activities.
About You / Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in complex organisations.
  • Substantial knowledge across policy, stakeholder engagement, data interpretation, and management.
  • Expertise in Australian energy markets and the complex political environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant fields.
Benefits

Salary: $143,411 - $168,064 (plus 15.4% superannuation)

The successful candidate may attract an additional allowance via IFA depending on skills and experience.
