The Energy and Water Consumers' Advocacy Programme works towards better regulatory and policy outcomes, ensuring people's needs are met by clean, resilient, and efficient energy and water systems.
Reporting to the Programme Director, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and promote policies that deliver affordable and sustainable access to energy and water as essential services for NSW households.
Responsibilities:- Contribute to the formulation of policy, recommendations, and advocacy on behalf of residential consumers in NSW
- Research issues related to household energy supply to identify current and emerging challenges
- Draft high-quality submissions, media releases, and other documents to communicate policy positions
- Passion for representing consumer interests
- Experience in research and public policy development
- Good knowledge of Australia's energy and/or water industries
