Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weddings & Events Manager to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing all wedding inquiries, selling and managing events to completion, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all wedding inquiries, including responding to client inquiries, scheduling tours, and coordinating event details.
  • Sell and manage events to completion, including working with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensuring that all event details are executed flawlessly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, food and beverage, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor, analyze, and recommend company conversion statistics to drive sales growth and improve event execution.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity to ensure the company remains competitive and relevant in the market.

About You:

  • Proven experience in managing weddings and social events, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
