About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team as a Senior Wedding Producer at one of our prestigious venues in Melbourne's CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional events, developing and managing client relationships, and leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster exceptional client relationships, ensuring every request is facilitated while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Generate accurate run sheets in Priava, outlining event details for the Operations team.
  • Coordinate third-party suppliers, providing requirements necessary for a seamless event experience.
  • Meet with clients before each event to manage expectations and ensure a smooth delivery.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up and feedback collection from clients to continually improve services.
  • Provide sales support to the Wedding Executive when needed, contributing to business growth.
  • E nsure all collateral sent to clients is accurate and correctly quoted, assisting in the development of new materials as required.
  • Promote innovative site inspections to inspire clients to book events, maximizing profit opportunities.
  • B uild and maintain existing client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Lead and develop your direct report, including performance reviews, 1:1s, and annual assessments.
  • Regularly communicate with your direct report to ensure they are motivated and engaged, working within agreed guidelines regarding hours and breaks.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in wedding coordination and management, preferably within a venue setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, customer service skills, and communication abilities.
  • Proven people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
  • Able to think quickly, problem-solve, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work a Tuesday-Saturday roster, with occasional Sunday events.

Salary Range

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $75,000 and $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation, depending on experience.
