Speech Pathologist Opportunity in Cairns, Queensland

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech pathology services to clients across North Queensland.

**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Senior Speech Pathologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive assessments and developing individualised plans for clients;
- Delivering high-quality speech pathology services to clients across North Queensland;
- Conducting research and contributing to the development of policy initiatives within the organisation;
- Maintaining accurate client service records and supervising Allied Health Assistants as part of service delivery;
- Developing and maintaining high-quality relationships with referrers, parents, clients, and other stakeholders in the community.
**Essential Qualifications and Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A relevant tertiary degree or higher qualification from a recognised Tertiary Education Provider in Speech Therapy;
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia;
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card);
- High-level interpersonal skills, including effective communication, negotiation, leadership, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills;
- An innovative and strategic approach to client service delivery and organisational improvement.

- Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within timeframes given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner;
- Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge and skill in a private practice context to ensure that the position remains financially viable.
**Salary Information:**
The salary for this role is between $100,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include fully covered Professional Indemnity Insurance, regular supervision and support, and highly competitive bonuses for meeting targets.
