Role Overview

This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or early career professional to join our multidisciplinary team as a Speech Pathologist. The role encompasses participation in the Allied Health Rural Generalist (AHRG) pathway, providing a unique chance to work with our team and contribute to service development projects.

About the Role

We are seeking suitably qualified professionals to join our dynamic team in Cairns. As a Speech Pathologist, you will enjoy a diverse caseload working in clinical and community settings, both locally and on outreach to rural and remote communities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and administrative support staff, utilizing current and emerging technologies to assist clients, their family, and community to achieve their goals.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and membership with Speech Pathology Australia.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is between $90,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the competitive salary, we offer:

  • Funded JCU training through the AHRG pathway
  • 0.1 FTE allocated for study
  • Superannuation 10.5%
