About the Role

A rare and exciting opportunity has become available to join the Corporate Communications team at TAFE NSW.

The Communications Specialist is responsible for helping to position TAFE NSW with media, employees, industry, and communities using contemporary communications techniques.

With a focus on strategic communications, you will help build our brand through the power of storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the implementation of communications plans that are aligned with the TAFE NSW Strategic and Operational Plans, and the Corporate Communications Strategy
  • Contributing to communications project teams by producing high-quality written materials including media releases and alerts, interview briefs, statements, social media posts, intranet content, newsletter copy, and speeches
  • Developing key messages and selecting appropriate campaign tactics
  • Monitoring media, social media, and internal feedback channels
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and shape PR opportunities
