We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Engagement Specialist to join our team at Food And Wine. As a key member of our Communications, Media and Engagement branch, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of strategic communications and engagement activities for various priority programs and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and delivery of communication and engagement activities, with a strong focus on stakeholder and community engagement, in support of sensitive and complex water infrastructure projects, programs, and policies.
- Identify emerging stakeholder matters/issues and quickly synthesize information across multiple competing projects.
- Assist in the implementation and delivery of a wide range of stakeholder and community engagement activities, including stakeholder identification and mapping, maintaining stakeholder databases, event coordination of town hall meetings, consultation forums, face-to-face meetings, and online engagement.
- Assist in the development of communication materials to execute over a range of channels.
- Provide communications project support to the communications team when required.
- Tertiary qualifications in communications/engagement or other related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience.
- Driver's License
- Willingness to travel to regional and metro areas
