About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Coles Group's Sustainability team as a Supplier Sustainability Relations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and coordination of our supplier engagement program, working closely with internal contract owners and suppliers to meet Coles' environmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and lead a team to drive sustainability performance across our suppliers
  • Drive communication between suppliers, contract owners, and industry bodies
  • Identify and drive opportunities for Coles suppliers to support the sustainability objectives of Coles
  • Oversee the delivery of supplier engagement communication and event activities
  • Be a subject matter expert in relation to Coles' supplier-related environmental targets
  • Oversee project reporting and budgets

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience working with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and consultants in a corporate environment
  • Project management experience of complex programs of work
  • Previously experience managing direct reports
  • Excellent communications and engagement skills
  • Some understanding of climate change, emissions reductions, and related sustainability impacts is preferred but not essential
