Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls.

About the Role
  • Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop, and execute assigned projects.
  • Supply leadership to complete the project on time and within budget.
  • Ensure proper project focus and allocation of resources to achieve forecasts.
  • Effectively manage projects to meet performance and project requirements.
  • Ensure project financial status is regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Supply project updates to senior management.
  • Ensure a high quality of work and compliance to OHS&E standards.
  • Preparation of QA documentation.
  • Involved in Software testing, System Commissioning and Building Tuning
  • Effectively manage customer/contractor relationships
  • Maintain company standards and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) through your work by learning and creating
  • Ability to identify opportunities, improvements and solutions that will enable you to plan and drive continuous initiatives for organizational improvement
  • Ability to demonstrate elevated levels of disciplined, professionalism, ethics, and accuracy in delivery of works under limited timeframe pressures
About You
  • A Trade Certificate in Electrical / HVAC or an Engineering Qualification with HVAC Experience
  • Be able to adapt, develop through digital transformation.
  • A strong background in Building Automation Systems and their overall design intent, controller product design and alternative solutions.
  • Experience in Building management system/Integrated building management system, inclusive of 3rd Party industrial protocols and integrations.
  • Effective handling of project reviews and handling by conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
  • Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio. BIM and AutoCAD skills would be an advantage to the applicant.
  • Standardizing of the deliverables including software, points list, documentation etc.
  • Setting up and supporting a standard library of the above.
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Drive to succeed.
  • Keep up to date with the technical aspects of the job and be willing to undertake training from time to time as needed.
  • Act as liaison between the customer and Johnson Controls by building a long-term working relationship.
