Policy Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Policy Officer to join our Disaster Risk team. This role involves coordinating national committees, sector engagement, and written inputs in support of our work with the Emergency Management (EM) sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategic relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, assessing and progressing the impact and value of Bureau services through effective representation on over 40 committees.

This role involves Secretariat work for committees led by the Bureau, collaborating with internal stakeholders to coordinate Bureau commitments relating to seasonal briefings and schedules of work relevant to hazard services.

Main Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, project and/or stakeholder management experience, and the ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
