Policy Director

This is an executive-level position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and are able to think critically and strategically, we would like to hear from you.
The role involves enabling the running of the Bureau's Hazard Services Forum, consulting with senior leaders within the Emergency Management sector and working seamlessly with other fora. You will be responsible for deeply understanding the needs of our customers, briefing and advising them as part of the Decision Support Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions by working closely with stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior leaders on disaster risk policy.
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination across programs and teams.
As a highly organised, collaborative and well-networked professional, you will play a critical role in connecting jurisdictional insights into priority national hazard services and activities. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of disaster risk policy.
