About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Bar Tender to oversee daily bar operations and provide exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a key member of our hospitality team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining High Standards: Ensure high standards of quality and cleanliness in the bar area, maintaining a clean and organized environment at all times.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior staff to provide excellent service, developing their skills and knowledge to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Creative Drinks Menu: Develop innovative drink menus, maintaining beverage quality and ensuring that all drinks meet the highest standards.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Handle guest complaints efficiently and effectively, providing solutions to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to provide seamless dining experiences, working together to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 5 years experience as a Bar Tender, with 2+ years in leadership or supervisory role.
  • Beverage Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, able to train and mentor junior staff.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Health and Safety: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Schedule: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods of time and hold a valid RSA certification.
