We're looking for a passionate Assistant Bar Manager to support our Bar Manager in delivering a world-class beverage program and exceptional guest experiences.

The Role

As our Assistant Bar Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our bar operations. You'll help lead and motivate the bar team, maintain high service standards, and ensure our drinks program continues to excite and impress our guests. This is a hands-on role for someone with a love for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Bar Operations: Assist in managing daily bar service, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Beverage Excellence: Help curate and maintain an innovative drinks list that reflects Marmont's style and quality standards.
  • Staff Leadership: Mentor, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Quality & Presentation: Ensure every drink meets our standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Inventory & Ordering: Support stock management, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
  • Guest Engagement: Interact with guests, provide recommendations, and personalise their experience.
  • Trend Awareness: Keep up to date with industry trends to help keep Marmont's beverage program fresh and exciting.

About You

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a high-end bar, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with a passion for guest service.
  • Organised and detail-focused, with good time management.
  • Experience with stock control and ordering processes.
  • A team player who can lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
