Project Leadership Role

The role of Project Manager involves playing a key part in the energy transition and providing essential services to families across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to deliver business projects over the full project lifecycle (design, build, test, deployment, embed) in order to meet agreed business needs through identifying and utilising necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of safety, cost, timescales and quality.

  • Lead, plan and manage delivery of initiatives/projects for the Distribution team
  • Adhere to project management framework, tools, processes and reporting principles
  • Ensure Project Management Plan including project schedules with deliverables, milestones and dates are agreed and signed off, and aligned as per best practices
  • Ensure appropriate governance frameworks and accountabilities are defined and actively in place and aligned to Business Project Governance
  • Participate in in-flight reviews and health checks of projects and make solid recommendations for actions
  • Provide leadership, expertise and guidance to stakeholders in project managing delivery of business/technology initiatives
  • Establish and manage relationships and commercial contracts with product suppliers and delivery partners
  • Effective internal and external stakeholder management
