Bakery Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bakery Assistant Manager to join our team at Drakes Supermarkets. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of the store's bakery, ensuring the smooth operation of the department and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with managing and coaching the bakery team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
- Complete production and action orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Generate rosters and manage team member scheduling
- Contribute to the development and implementation of bakery department strategies and initiatives
- Collaborate with the Bakery Manager to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Proven experience in a retail bakery environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
