Rehabilitation Specialist Opportunity

The Rehabilitation Specialist role involves providing expert occupational rehabilitation services to support the return-to-work journey of injured workers. This is a holistic care approach that prioritizes the employee's journey from rehab to healing.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will leverage your expertise in occupational rehabilitation to identify new return-to-work opportunities and develop rehabilitation plans tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging networks and industry knowledge to identify new return-to-work opportunities
  • Developing relationships with employers seeking return-to-work support
  • Providing case management for injured workers requiring physical and/or psychological support
  • Establishing relationships with health professionals and working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Performing assessments including functional capacity evaluations and ergonomic assessments

Key qualifications include:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ESSA)
  • Occupational Rehabilitation experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for helping people rehabilitate and demonstrated ability to work autonomously
