About the Role
">This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a rehabilitation consultant. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of injured workers by providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
">- We are seeking someone with expertise in occupational rehabilitation who can leverage their networks and industry knowledge to identify new return-to-work opportunities.
- The ideal candidate will be able to develop and nurture relationships with employers seeking return-to-work support for their organization.
- You will also be responsible for case management for injured workers who require physical and/or psychological support to return to employment.
- As part of our team, you will work closely with health professionals and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.
- In addition, you will perform various assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments.
- Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with a variety of stakeholders, including injured employees, employers, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
What You Will Need
">- Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA).
- Occupational rehabilitation experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing.
- Strong clinical reasoning.
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.
- Passion to help people rehabilitate.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
