About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Forecast Analyst to join our Inventory team at Target Australia Pty. Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring demand forecast integrity and accuracy is maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Merchandise Planner to optimize inventory levels and achieve financial KPIs of sales, margin, and stockturn.
  • Support the business through improved forecasts and accurate reporting, presenting insights to key stakeholders both commercial and operational, and influencing decision-making.
  • Owning the merchandise relationship, driving enhancements in forecast accuracy through root cause analyses and ensuring continuous improvement throughout the planning function.
  • Drive the inventory analysis and production of weekly reporting for the categories.
Requirements
  • Strong Excel knowledge & Power BI experience.
  • Experience within Retail/Wholesale/Manufacturing.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and amazing attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Effective and concise communication skills.
  • Proven ability to execute action plan deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Experience in Project/Business translation.
  • Experience in Allocations, Demand and Fulfillment systems.
  • Bachelor Degree (Undergrad).
