About the Role

Calleo Australia is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Modeller to join our team in a key role that will involve developing and maintaining mathematical models to project workforce demand and supply. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical techniques, and will be able to apply these skills to produce actionable policy insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Enhance Mathematical Models: The Data Analyst/Modeller will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining a range of mathematical models to project workforce demand and supply. This will involve applying advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to large datasets.
  • Apply Advanced Analytics Techniques: The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced analytics techniques, including forecasting, statistical modelling, and data visualisation. They will be able to apply these techniques to produce actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: The Data Analyst/Modeller will work closely with a cross-functional team of analysts, modellers, software developers, and cloud engineers to develop a health workforce supply and demand modelling tool. This will involve collaborating with team members to design, develop, and test the tool.
  • Present Complex Data Insights: The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, and will be able to present complex data insights to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience in Data Analysis: The Data Analyst/Modeller will have a proven track record of experience in data analysis, including experience with statistical modelling, machine learning, and data visualisation.
  • Deep Expertise in Analytics Tools: The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of analytics tools, including R, and will be able to apply these tools to develop and maintain mathematical models.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The Data Analyst/Modeller will have excellent communication and presentation skills, and will be able to present complex data insights to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
