Job Title: Visitor Services Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage our dynamic team in delivering high-quality customer experiences across our portfolio of House Museums.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about visitor services and customer experience. The role will involve leading a team to ensure the delivery of inspiring visitor experiences within the Portfolio, coordinating visitor services activities, and enhancing audience engagement strategies and projects.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve outstanding results. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-functioning visitor services team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Coordinate visitor services activities to continually improve visitor experience and enhance audience engagement strategies
  • Develop and implement effective communication plans to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, performance, and training needs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • A current first aid certificate
  • Knowledge of and interest in Australian history and heritage acquired through relevant qualifications or experience
  • A current NSW driver's licence
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or at weekends
  • Willingness to work across and ability to travel to multiple work locations

This is an ongoing full-time employment opportunity with a remuneration package that includes salary ($110,266 - $122,058), employer's contribution to superannuation, and annual leave loading. The role will work across Sydney, with an office based in the eastern suburbs.
