Job Summary

The key to delivering exceptional front-of-house services is by providing visitors with a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer quality customer service, welcome visitors and facilitate engagement with interactive exhibits and timelines.
  • Presentation of visitor programs, including guided tours, educational activities, and group greetings.
  • Support functions and events, including setup and pack-down.
  • Effectively handle visitor feedback and compile visitation reports.
  • Actively participate in the development and promotion of professional customer service standards.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and clean environment for all visitors.
  • Report maintenance and cleaning issues promptly and conduct regular checks throughout the centre.
  • Complete ad hoc projects and tasks as required to assist the broader operational team.
Requirements
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Ability to learn key facts and assist with visitor inquiries.
  • Comfortable directing others in emergency situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-volume visitor environment.
  • Uphold appropriate hygiene practices and explain social distancing measures to visitors.
  • Current Working with Children Check and first aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
