Job Role Overview

This role plays a pivotal part in delivering and maintaining exceptional visitor services at the Barossa Visitor Centre, alongside its associated services and facilities.

The successful candidate will contribute to Council's strategic directions through providing an outstanding visitor experience at Council's accredited Visitor Information Centre.

This involves offering accurate and up-to-date information, planning itineraries, booking services, regional education, supporting local tourism operators, and promoting various products through diverse channels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Visitor Experience:
    • Deliver professional and engaging customer interactions across all communication mediums.
    • Provide informed and prompt assistance, advice, and support aligned with Council's standards, processes, and policies.
  • Support and Administration:
    • Collaborate with the Team Leader to coordinate volunteer activities and related administrative tasks, enhancing team efficiency and performance.
