Job Summary:

Vicinity Centres is seeking an experienced Marketing Executive to join their team in a key marketing role. As a marketing professional, you will be responsible for delivering effective tactical execution of key marketing activity and campaigns to drive the best customer experience for the centre's community.

The successful candidate will support the Regional Brand & Marketing Manager and National Marketing more broadly in the development of marketing strategies and the tactical amplification of the Centre's Marketing plan. In addition, they will generate local tactical activity creative briefs with local requirements to be aligned with Vision Strategy and Action Plan (VSA) pillars and national toolkits.

You will have a strong understanding of retailer businesses and engagement, ensuring regular and meaningful communication and reporting with our retail partners at all times. While brand-led and nationally supported, you will also understand the local competitive landscape and key customer insights to ensure a level of customisation of the Centre marketing plan to drive local community engagement, activations and partnerships.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement social and digital activity, monitoring and reporting in conjunction with the Digital and Social Specialist.
  • Manage events, campaigns, and activations, including risk assessments and day-to-day management during each event/campaign or activation.
  • Maintain legal and compliance duties, including briefing of terms and conditions and escalating compliance and governance requirements to the necessary teams.
  • Support Centre operational activities, including centre walks, duty management, customer service desk assistance, hoarding management, PA announcements, visual merchandising, new store support, warden training, maintaining the marketing storeroom, updating Resolve and consumer complaints, and onsite contractor support.
  • Prepare reports and attend CAR Meetings and state meetings, as well as Centre administrative support and performance management of traffic, sales, and campaign PIRs and compliance reporting.

We are looking for someone with a proven capability in delivering marketing events and activity targeted to meet marketing objectives, identified customer segments, and sales categories. You will have strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, as well as financial acumen and proven performance to drive value and commercial results.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
