About this Role
You will play a key role in supporting Senior Relationship Managers to provide value to customers across regional markets.
Manage and grow your portfolio of business customers and be a key part of the customer's relationship.
Whatever your role, you'll be building your future while helping to build ours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Senior Relationship Managers to manage relationships with customers within their assigned portfolio tier.
- Attend to client queries, ensuring all queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
- Administer customer portfolios, maintaining documentation and files in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Extract and analyse financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and other complex financial reports, providing accurate assessments.
- Identify acceptable lending risk levels and maximise profit from transactions.
- Demonstrate a risk management culture in line with values.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues related to your role responsibilities.
- Comply with complaint resolution processes to resolve matters, maintain high service standards, and mitigate risks/losses.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively to drive a 'one team' approach.
- Contribute to developing a positive Safety and Wellbeing culture.
- Engage in initiatives to continuously build skills, knowledge, and capability.
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to live and work regionally and establish or grow connections to regional areas.
- Demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Financial skills, including understanding of pricing, margin, expense management, and profitability principles.
- Planning and organising skills, establishing processes to complete goals and allocating resources.
