About the Role:

As an Assistant Relationship Manager in Business Banking, you will play a key role in supporting Senior Relationship Managers to provide value to Agribusiness customers across regional markets.

You will support managing and growing our portfolio of business customers, being a key part of the customer's relationship. You will have opportunities to work with Senior Relationship Managers to manage relationships with customers within their assigned portfolio tier.

You will attend to client queries, ensuring all queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner, in keeping with established service standards.

You will work with Senior Relationship Managers on the administration of the customer portfolio, ensuring all documentation and customer files are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.

You will extract and analyze financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and other complex financial reports, providing accurate assessments.

You will identify acceptable levels of lending risk, in line with our Risk Appetite Statement, and maximize profit from transactions.

You will support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with company values.

You will proactively identify and escalate risks and issues related to your role responsibilities.

You will comply with our complaint resolution process to resolve matters, maintain high service standards, and mitigate further risks or losses.

You will build strong and genuine relationships with key stakeholders, working collaboratively to drive a 'one team' approach, ensuring effective support and service delivery, and achieving customer and business needs.

You will contribute to developing a positive and proactive Safety and Wellbeing culture, meeting all safety and wellbeing compliance requirements.

You will engage in initiatives and opportunities to continuously build skills, knowledge, and capability.
