As a Workplace Safety Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals at work.
Job Description
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for prioritizing health and safety, both physically and mentally, while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver best practice case management by employing evidence-based strategies to drive successful Recovery at Work outcomes.
- Provide sound Recovery at Work advice and Case Management involving early intervention, workplace assessment, occupational rehabilitation, and recovery at work programs for complex or significant cases.
- Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to implement strategies and work collaboratively to achieve positive health outcomes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold Recovery at Work Coordinator Accreditation in accordance with SIRA requirements, along with sound knowledge and experience of NSW Workers Compensation legislation. Additionally, having an accredited Allied Health Professional background in Occupational Rehabilitation or Psychology is highly desirable.
