We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Experience team at GBS Recruitment in Morwell.

As a key role, this position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing high-quality support and building positive relationships with customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and high-quality service to customers regarding routine rebate information.
  • Assessing customer inquiries and making informed decisions based on established policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of rebate information.
  • Accurately reviewing and processing manual exceptions and undertaking administrative tasks to support customer inquiries.
  • Utilizing technical equipment to troubleshoot issues and making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintaining precise and complete records in line with legislative, information security, and privacy policies.
  • FOLLOWING work health and safety (WHS) policies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promoting a culturally safe environment free from discrimination, where all customers feel safe, valued, and respected.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE: Previous experience providing advice and support in a customer service environment.
  • RAPPORT-BUILDING SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to build rapport, even with difficult customers.
  • CALL CENTRE EXPERIENCE: High performance in a call center or help desk support role.
  • RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS: Training in a relevant field, such as customer service, call center operations, or help desk support.
  • TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Experience using Customer Relationship Management systems (e.g., Salesforce).

This role offers an estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
