Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to join our team in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the ICT Infrastructure team, providing Level 3 support for Wintel, VMware, Citrix, Azure, and Office365 core technologies.

  • Provide hands-on Level 3 support for Wintel, VMware, Citrix, Azure, and Office365 core technologies.
  • Lead and inspire a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to conduct audits, implement security policies, and address any identified vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments and capacity planning to ensure scalability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor infrastructure system upgrades, installations, integrations, customizations, configurations, and testing new systems and hardware.
  • Provide mentoring and assistance to other team members in Business As Usual (BAU) and Projects.
  • Actively assess/contribute to the continuous improvement of work, standards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Create and maintain current documentation for all undocumented IT systems or work practices and provide these as training material to the greater IT team.

Requirements

  • Relevant industry qualifications (VCP, MCSE, Citrix Certified are highly desirable).
  • Knowledge or experience with cloud and hybrid cloud solutions desirable.
  • A collaborative approach to developing solutions with other technology teams and business users.
  • Exposure to OS security standards.
  • Microsoft Active Directory.

  • Microsoft DNS & DHCP.
  • Microsoft Server.
  • Microsoft Office 365 / Azure Cloud Service.
  • Hyperscale and Veeam Backup System.
