A highly respected public sector organisation in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Portfolio Director to lead a diverse portfolio that includes construction scheduling, asset management, business services, and information management.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering construction-related projects and corporate support services.
  • Develop frameworks for quality outcomes across asset management, financial planning, procurement processes, and information dissemination.
  • Foster strong partnerships internally and externally to anticipate future needs while maintaining compliance with governance standards.
  • Implement efficient information systems to enable rapid responses to high-level queries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Overssee the strategic planning and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and effective risk mitigation.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams responsible for business services such as human resources, procurement, finance, governance, and information management.
  • Develop robust frameworks for construction scheduling, asset management, budget oversight, and project delivery.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration by building cohesive networks within the command structure and with external partners.
  • Champion the implementation of integrated information management systems to streamline data flow and improve responsiveness.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in senior business services roles leading multi-disciplinary teams across both infrastructure projects and corporate functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure frameworks including project plans, asset lifecycle maintenance programs, financial forecasting, and government reporting requirements.
