Job Description:

The National Operations Manager is responsible for delivering operational support to a national team. This role involves working closely with peers and stakeholders to ensure seamless ongoing support to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate process guidelines and maintain effective practices
  • Analyze sub-optimal processes and implement remedial actions
  • Assist in monitoring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of staff work
  • Use data to optimize systems, processes, and people
  • Support senior leadership in executing key initiatives
  • Develop and deliver training practices and assist in underwriting audits
  • Evaluate service delivery with stakeholders
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and anticipate future requirements

Operational Efficiency/Process Improvement:

  • Challenge and continually improve processes, procedures, tools, and systems
  • Implement continuous process improvement based on data analysis
  • Analyze and remediate sub-optimal processes
  • Execute process improvement benefits and realize results

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in operational efficiencies
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and train others
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of executing large-scale projects and initiatives
  • Understanding of underwriting policy practice and requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Insurance industry knowledge
