Senior Manager, Assurance Quality Uplift

About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Assurance Quality Uplift will play a pivotal role in our client’s 2LoD Risk Assurance Division. This critical position requires an individual with experience in Financial Services, including assurance, risk & compliance, quality assurance, practice management, process optimisation, or project management backgrounds.

This leadership role involves redefining quality standards of 2nd Line Risk Assurance across SOX Prudential, Operational Risk, Compliance, and Project domains. The ideal candidate must be able to lead and develop methodologies, training, and quality frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Redefine quality standards of 2nd Line Risk Assurance across SOX Prudential, Operational Risk, Compliance, and Project domains.
  • Re-engineer 2nd Line Risk Assurance processes.
  • Act as a Project Manager to lead and coordinate annual assurance testing and transformation initiatives such as Analytics & Automation strategies.
  • Perform independent reviews and evaluations along the change process.
  • Maintain updates to the Risk and Compliance Assurance Manual.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable across the 3 lines of defence.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  1. 7+ years of experience in Financial Services, including assurance, risk & compliance, quality assurance, practice management, process optimisation, or project management backgrounds.
  2. Ability to standardise and optimise controls effectively and efficiently.
  3. Outstanding project coordination skills.
  4. Potential leadership skills to recruit and manage a team.
  5. Relevant qualifications such as CA, CISA, CIA, FRM, MBA are desirable.
  6. Technical skills in data analytics, business intelligence, and automation are advantageous.
