Family Partnership Care Specialist

The NSW Health Sustaining NSW Families Team is seeking an experienced Family Partnership Care Specialist to join our inter-disciplinary team of clinicians. The successful candidate will have a commitment to providing inclusive, trauma-informed care and a demonstrated understanding of early intervention.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with families using a strengths-based approach, supported by a multidisciplinary allied health team.
- Offer a series of evidence-based interventions that aim to foster positive parent-child relationships, nurture attachment and optimise children's development.
- Complete advanced practice training course within 18 months to support practice in the Program.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a recognised post-graduate Child & Family Health Nursing qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable families and a strong understanding of early intervention principles.
- Effective clinical communication skills, including written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
This position requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. Applicants must be willing to complete the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process.
