Corporate Communications Leader

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team across all areas of corporate communications.

Developing and executing integrated communications strategies to enhance the organization's brand, reputation, and stakeholder engagement are key aspects of this role.

About the Role
  1. Strategic corporate communications and brand positioning
  2. Media relations, issues, and crisis management
  3. Internal communications and employee engagement
  4. Executive and Board communications support
  5. Government and stakeholder relations
  6. Channel and digital content management (website, intranet, social media)

You will shape clear, consistent, and compelling messaging that builds trust with stakeholders, enhances Austin Health's profile, and strengthens employee pride and connection.

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

  1. Extensive experience in corporate affairs/communications at executive level
  2. A strong track record in issues and crisis management
  3. Expertise in developing and executing integrated communications strategies
  4. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at Board, government, and community level
  5. Strong leadership capability, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams
