Child Mental Health Specialist

The Child Mental Health Specialist is a vital member of our multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to children, adolescents and their families/carers in Orange.

As a key contributor to the Infant Child Youth & Family (ICYF) mental health services, this role involves delivering evidence-based interventions to young people and families.

This position requires energy, enthusiasm and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health care to children, adolescents and their families/carers as part of a collaborative team effort.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to children, young people and families to promote positive mental health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with health services and other agencies to enhance patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing learning and development opportunities to build skills in child and adolescent mental health.
Work Arrangements:

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, excluding public holidays. Full-time staff are entitled to monthly ADOs, generous salary packaging and various fringe benefits.
